Banoffee Porridge

Ingredients

  • 2 Ripe bananas caramelised *
  • 2 Cups macadamia nut milk
  • 5 tbsp Chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder 
  • 2 Scoops Nuzest Clean Lean Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1/3 Cup runny date puree or date syrup

In a mixing bowl, add the caramelised bananas. Smash the banana finely with a fork until it has a puree consistency.

Add your nut milk along with all the other ingredients and mix well. Once mixed set aside for 5 min whilst you prepare your glass jars.

Depending on the size of the glass jars, you could get 3 or 4 servings out of this all based on how you layer the jars.

To get the most out of this start off by adding a layer of coconut yoghurt followed by your banoffee pie mixture, optional to add another yoghurt layer. Then finally topping it off with another layer of banoffee pie porridge. Some fresh banana slices are great to add just before serving.


Notes:

*Caramelise your banana on a hot non stick pan, drizzle some coconut oil and coconut sugar. Allow it to brown.
